Teti
Lab Skill (TLS) is a period of time at the beginning of the university held to
orient and welcome new TETI students. Teti Lab Skill (TLS) program are held to
help the new students to get the information they need about the university
life. It designed in 3 main event, consist of infoday, teacher Introduction,
KMTETI, BSO & Event, journal assignment, and inauguration. The event are
scheduled from mid-August till 9
September 2016.

Teti Labs Skill is important to facilitate the new students adaptation for the
successful transition into college life. Typical new student orientation in
other university may consist of verbal and physical harrashment and often lead
to humiliation, but in Teti Lab Skill the new student got no any harrashment.
Teti Labs Skill does not require to wear unusual accessories and does not have
any uncommon physical or verbal
punishment. Teti Labs Skill is far from the ‘cruelty’ of OSPEK that may occur
in other university.
Teti Labs
Skill provides many important information and tips for the new students to better
improving and get success in university. The orientation mostly held in the
form of a seminar, talkshow, campus tour, and focus group discussion. Teti Lab
Skill assignment designed to speed up introduction process, it teach the newbie how to work as a
team, share, and respect to other. The benefit new students may get from Teti
Lab Skil are better understanding
responsibility, reduce anxiety, gain
more relation, and self skill improvement.
The way Teti
Lab Skill done right now is better than Forum Dinamika Kampus had done before
to ‘welcome’ the new students last year. Teti Lab skill treated well the new
students to develop and adapt into university life. It did not filled with any
hazing and violent upon the new student. Same orientation way must be
implemented in other university instead
of any hazing that still can be found in new\\bstudents orientation nowadays.
